1. Wear resisting rubber surface with stripes: Rubber material of high elasticity and good wear resistance is applied. Unique rhombus groove and “Z” shaped groove improves surface friction of roller. During belt running, more extra traction can make longer working life.
2. Adhesion: Rubber and steel plate are firmly bonded by high pressure vulcanization technology. The adhesion shall be stable without adhesive failure.
3. Steel linear plate: Precision shaped arc, suitable for rollers with different diameters, can firmly bonded with steel plate to ensure stability during long operation.
4. Rust-proof metal barrier strip: Barrier strip is permanently welded or fixed to head wheel or roller surface. Rubber coated plug-in piece shall be firmly fixed

 Features and advantages:
1.Strong driving friction: “Double herringbone groove” is applied to each plug-in piece. The combination of rhombus groove and “Z” shaped groove increases driving and friction force and avoids slipping of head wheel.
2.Long working life: Rubber material of high elasticity and good wear resistance is applied. Unique rhombus groove and “Z” shaped groove improves surface friction of roller. During belt running, more extra traction can make longer working life. In addition, metal barrier strip firmly fastens roller and plug-in piece, which prevents plug-in piece from crabwise and failure.
3.Convenient installation and repairing: roller can be changed soon after machine stops without being taken apart or coating. Loose the belt, install fixing metal barrier strip and then insert plug-in piece and fasten. Minimized downtime improves efficiency and reduces cost.

4. Self-cleaning: The rubbing force by unique double herringbone and independent plug-in piece can squeeze out impurities between belt and roller and prevent belt from off tracking.

Product types: (mainly refers to the differences between rubber performance and construction

1. Normal type: normal rubber coating material for non-driving roller. (mainly to protect conveyor belt and roller)
2. Wear resisting type (Conventional supply): applicable to wear resisting rubber coated materials of normal conveying capacity, elevating capacity and moving speed.
3. Strong wear resisting type: Applicable to wear resisting rubber coated materials of large conveying capacity and elevating capacity, as well as high speed of moving.
4. Flame retardant type: Applicable to coal mine conveyor, and flame retardant anti-static rubber coated materials confirming to coal mine safety.

Other special requirements can be customized.

 

Ordering notice
1.Environment and performance shall be offered: The diameter and length of head wheel shall be available.
2.Butt joint method or full width method
Butt joint: The two ends of each part from the whole length are jointed, which is the most economic method. ( the picture below shows butt joint method of 38” roller.

Full width method: Each plug-in piece is determined by total width without joint (except the roller width is over 72inch, and the joint is on central line of roller). Compared with low cost butt joint method, full width method has no advantages but beautiful appearance.
3.Quantity: for rubber coated plug-in piece with standard length 72"(1830MM)

3.1.2Calculation for the quantity of 72" rubber coated plug-in pieces used for rollers of any head wheel diameter or width.
 Inch
1.Head wheel/2, means the r of plug-in pieces around the roller.
2.Row number X roller width
3.Divided by 72" to determine the quantity.
Example: 36" diameter X 38" width
1.36/2=18 (rows)
2.18X38"=684"
3.684"/72"=9.5 or 10 (quantity of full length plug-in piece)
Meter
1.Head wheel diameter X3.14/160 (rows)
2.Rows X roller width
3.Divided by 1830 to determine quantity of full length plug-in piece
Example:
1.600 diameter X 500 width
2.12X500=6000 MM
3. 6000/1830=3.3 or 4 (quantity of full length plug-in piece)
1.2 Application of “full width”
The quantity of “full width” is the number of rows for plug-in pieces around roller, which is in accordance with cutting width.

Surface cleaning: Polish rust and irregular areas.

A strip is horizontal on the roller, while two ends are fixed on the roller by locking pliers.

 

3.Weld the plug hole after the strip is smooth.

4.Put the rubber plate under turn-up area of strip, and the plate is flush with the strip. Clamp the plate with locking pliers.
5. Another strip is also fix on the roller by locking pliers, with an interval between plate and strip 0.8-1.2 mm.
6. Then weld the three plug holes figured in the picture, and then other plug holes shall be welded.
7. Repeat the above steps until the last rubber plate is left.

8.According to the roller diameter, installation is finished if there is no rubber plate left without any spare areas.
9.If there is a large spare space, the distance shall be measured. Rubber plate shall be cut to reasonable size by cutting machine and knife longitudinally.
10.Note:
1. Rear steel plate of rubber plate shall be cut by cutting machine or polishing machine, and then the rubber part shall be separated (to void the damage to rubber by overheated cutting machine). Steel plate shall be larger than rubber part by an edge of 5-8mm so as to be fixed.
2. Welding duration of each plug hole shall not be more than 3 seconds. Interval welding is accepted until all plug holes are finished.
3. Check all the welding and fixing condition.
4. Protections shall be done case of open fire. For working in mine coal, excellent venting practice shall be done.
